October

Halloween was a fun one this year. We grew our own pumpkins, had a party with friends, carved pumpkins, went trick or treating with the cousin in aggieville, and finished by trick or treating and handing out candy at home. This year Scott decorated the yard for Halloween. The kids loved helping him put it up and thought it was so much fun handing out candy while daddy tried to scare the big kids (Scott was in a scary costume pretending to be a statue in the yard and then moving when kids came) There was only one little problem. Austin kept going to give Scott hugs and gave him away most of the time :)

Sleepy time

A couple of weeks ago we switched Austin to his toddle bed. So far he has been doing great. He goes to sleep by himself now and sleeps through the night most nights. A couple of night ago though he wanted to sleep with brother. They were just too cute so of course I had to take a picture.

Fun times

KSU Wildcats:
So far we have made it to every home K-State game. At first Austin wasn't too sure, but he seems to enjoy each game more and more. He loves to find Willie and say K-S-U Wildcats. Ethan still loves the games too. The first game he got Willie to sign his jersey. Now he is determed to get something else signed!

We were lucky enough to get to ride with my dad on the airplane to this past game. The boys enjoy flying and it's so much nicer than having to drive to Manhattan.

FARM BOYS:
Since we have started fall harvest both boys have gotten to go out and spend some time on the farm. Austin likes to ride the combine for awhile, but then he is done. Ethan on the other hand would stay out there all day. Ethan's favorite part is riding the grain cart with Ben.

Summertime

Overall we had a great summer. It was filled with friends, family, and a lot of fun. The thing the kids liked most about the summer was swimming. By the end of the summer Ethan was jumping off the diving board by himself and Austin was swimming by himself and putting his face under the water.

The kid helped me make cookies for their friends. This summer we really enjoyed playing with our friends.

Family picture we took while we were in the mountains this summer taking a vacation with my family. It was great to get away from the Kansas heat and get to spend some time with family.

We finished the summer with a suprise 30th birthday party for Scott. It was a lot of fun. The kids loved getting to suprise daddy!

School Man

This year Ethan started school. He is in a 3 year old preschool program that goes twice a week for 2 hours each time. So far he is loving it. He tells me each time after school how much fun it was.

Eye Exam

Here are a couple of pictures of Ethan's first trip to see daddy. He has went in to see him many times, but this was the first time he had a full exam. He loved getting his eyes checked and played eye doctor for quite a few days after that.
